About Us
Welcome to Bannockburn & Teesdale Riding Club!
We’re a friendly, inclusive community of horse enthusiasts who love spending time together — learning, riding, and having fun with like-minded people. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or just starting out, everyone is welcome!
Our club is based at the Leighdale Equestrian Centre, which offers fantastic facilities including a full-size indoor arena, outdoor sand arenas, a cross-country course, club rooms, plenty of yards, and ample parking.
Join us for our relaxed and supportive rallies every 2nd Sunday of the month, where we focus on enjoying our horses, developing our skills, and creating great memories together.

🐴 Christine Sievers – Dressage
Chris is a full-time professional dressage coach, FEI competitor, and Australian Grand Prix National Dressage Judge. She also serves as an EA Judge Educator, Judge Mentor, and Young Horse Judge.
With over 30 years of experience, Chris is passionate about helping riders reach their potential. She coaches riders from Preliminary through to FEI level, as well as HRCAV and Pony Club members.
Throughout her career, Chris has been actively involved at the National level across EA, Interschools, and PCA, and has judged at major events including DJWTS and the Australian Dressage Championships. She has also generously contributed her time to committees for both EA and HRCAV.
Chris’s current competition horse, Merool Georgie Girl (“Gi Gi”), is a stunning palomino mare — a unique Stock Horse x Thoroughbred cross. Together they are proving that true dressage success comes in all shapes and sizes, now competing confidently at Prix St. Georges level.
Chris has also recently launched her own podcast, sharing her experience and insights with the wider equestrian community.
Known for her warmth, dedication, and encouraging approach, Chris gives her absolute best to every student. We’re thrilled to have her joining us for our Rally Day!
Lessen cost $100 per lessen and $50 each shared lessen.
